HOW TO PLAY?

The game consists of 15 rounds, each involving five dice that can be rolled up to three times per turn. The objective is to maximize your score by completing as many of the 15 different dice combinations as possible.

Each combination can only be scored once, requiring strategic decision-making in selecting where to allocate your points.

Yatzy combines elements of chance and strategy. The goal is to achieve the highest possible score by successfully completing various configurations such as one pair, two pairs, three of a kind, four of a kind, small straight, large straight, full house, and chance for the lower section scores. Additionally, there are categories for each number on the dice from ones through sixes for the upper section. The game culminates with the coveted Yatzy category—the highest-scoring combination of five identical dice.

The game can be played solo or against an opponent. In single-player mode, players set a target score and aim to surpass it. In multiplayer mode, the objective is to outscore your competitor.

Yatzy offers three gameplay modes:
